Ximble allows you to communicate with your employees and/or co-workers through public channels, which can be created in the system, or simply by sending a DM (direct message) to any of your team members.
To initiate a new conversation, please click on the + icon in the top left corner next to the label “Messages”:
Once you click on it, the system will show you a list of available users you can communicate with. Simply click on the person you wish to start a conversation with and then click on the “Start” button:
Once you do that, you’ll notice the name of the select person in the list on your messaging page. Click on it, and type your message in the window. As soon as you send it off, your colleague will be notified and will be able to respond.
Besides communicating with your co-workers, the system will also allow you to share files.
If you click on this icon in the bottom left corner, the system will prompt you to select a file from your computer that you wish to share. Once you do that, the system will attach the file in the background, and you can just hit Enter if you’re ready to send it off.
This icon, next to your employee’s or co-worker’s name, means that the person is not currently logged in to the system.
