If shift replacements are enabled in the configuration section, then you, as a supervisor, will be able to manage your employees’ coverage requests. By default, this option is enabled on all new accounts.
In the screenshot below you can see some examples of shift replacement requests:
While reviewing pending requests, you can view a shift information and make a decision on whether to approve a request or reject it. By using the icons on the right, you can approve or reject each pending request.
To approve a request, click on the check-mark icon, shown in the screenshot below:
To reject a request, click on the “X” icon next to it:
Once you approve a shift replacement request, the system will automatically move the shift on the schedule from one employee to another, and your employees will be notified that their request was approved. There’s nothing you need to do manually at that point, since the system will handle everything automatically.
If you decide to reject a shift replacement request, your employees will be notified that their request was not approved.
