In this video, we will cover the “Power Edit” option, which allows admins and supervisors to mass update employee data. To access this option, navigate to the “Employees” section, and click on the “Power Edit” button in the upper right corner.
You can filter out a selected group of employees by position or location. The system will display all employees that fit the selected parameters. Choose the employees you wish to edit from the list and click on the “Next” button. The system will present you with 4 sections, each offering a multitude of options you can edit on employees' profiles. These changes can be made individually, or on all the selected profiles at once by selecting the “Group” option.
Simply choose the type of field you wish to edit and continue to the next step. Let’s say we want to change the City for our selected users, and we want to set the same city for our small group here. Now let’s proceed and let’s set Los Angeles as an example. Let’s click save, and that’s it! All staff members that we covered by this change now have Los Angeles set as their city on their profiles.
